Residence Halls are the Stonewall halls. Pretty decent, though Stonewall 3 (I dunno if others are like that) lacks paper towels in the bathroom. (At least in '05.)

Closing the blinds and plugging in the door with a towel allowed one room in 08.2 in Stonewall II to keep desk lamps on, however. The cafeteria's food quality if good, although the variety is low. Food is good... for the most part. Never eat the mac and cheese.  Has fairly low variety of food.

Lights out is really lights out. RAs patrol around the buildings and radio up to your RA if they see your light on.  However, one room in 08.2 Stonewall 2 (that's right, go me) kept desk lamps on undetected by closing the blinds in the windows and using a towel to plug up the bottom of the door.

Bristol gets a lot of athletic kind of students, so be prepard for sports.

Bristol is a CAA site, located at Rodger Williams University in Bristol, Rhode Island.

Student Lifestyle

While considered to be one of the stricter sites in the program, it is still enjoyable for the students. RAs patrol around the buildings after lights out - the rules are enforced strictly at this site. Closing the blinds and plugging in the door with a towel allowed one room in 08.2 in Stonewall II to keep desk lamps on, however. The cafeteria's food quality if good, although the variety is low. The mac and cheese is to be avoided. Bristol is an athletic site and sports are an important part of activities and general site fun.

Traditions

  • During Session 1, Students go to the July 4th parade and Carnival in Bristol because Bristol held the first July 4th Celebration in the United States. This tradition, for no apparent reason, was not upheld in 2008.
  • The Game, as at most sites, is prevalent at Bristol.

Buildings

  • Stonewall Terrace I-IV: The 4 Residential Halls
    • Stonewall III, in 2005, lacked paper towels in the bathroom. This building also had mold in most of the rooms on the second floor in 2008.
  • Recreation Center: Home to the gym and the swimming pool.
    • Most Assemblies (i.e. talent show, opening ceremony) and dances occur in the gym.
  • The Commons: Home to the Dining hall and bookstore.
