Despite the fact that at the present time St. Mary's is no longer operating as a CTY site, in the efforts of preserving history, a Places page is being created for this epic site.

- (I only had classes in Kent in my three years at St. Mary's, and I can't remember any other buildings. Help from other St. Mary's alumni would be nice.)
Campus Center
The Campus Center was the Dining Hall/Bookstore/Convenience Store area. It had a big staircase that wrapped and was fun. The staircase also featured a prayer or something written on the wall. Campus Center also featured an elevator (or 2?) which had floors made of plywood and felt like they would break under your feet.
The Dining Hall was located upstairs and was separated into two parts: the serving area and the eating area. Between them was a walkway. There were two entrances to the serving area, but almost everyone used the first because it was closest to the entrance. Inside there was a salad bar, as well as a "Grill." The main course was served near the center. Off to the left was an area full of doughnuts and cookies and toasters and the ever popular waffle irons. Some students had been known to toast their doughnuts (delicious!) but it was strongly discouraged by the staff. The eating area was a large room it featured rather large tables and then on the outer wall 2-person tables which were almost never used. The Dining Hall also had a large clock that was always wrong.
Downstairs were the Bookstore and Daily Grind. The bookstore, though it did feature a good selection of textbooks, also featured many comics and other books. It was a primary hang out spot after meals. During one year the RA's enforced a rule of no reading books in the bookstore unless you purchased them. The Bookstore also featured four "comfy" chairs. Typically occupied by an RA and three lucky campers. Other campers hanging out in the bookstore sat on the floor wherever they could.
The Daily Grind was essentially the equivlent of Carlisle's Devil's Den, but featured Starbuck's Coffee.
