The patch is what you get if you die while playing the game outside of the thirty minute grace period given to you after you lose each time.
Currently, Phil Gunn is the only known person eligible for the patch, and we all miss him dearly.
There is an ongoing effort to create the patch for Phil; we had never before even considered that there would ever be a need for a patch.
It's been decided that there should be a worm on it, inspired by his recital of "The Conqueror Worm" during the 05.2 Talent Show; however, other details are extremely vague.
