An eccentric, quite insane, always hyper, never sad, crazy, always singing, Avatar-loving, Harry Potter geek and sort of look-alike with questionable energy reserves. He always seems to be hyper and happy even when everyone else is tired. He's an endless stream of random comments and hilarity. Known for obsession with many things, including penguins, Kingdom Hearts, Disney, and Avatar the Last Airbender, he uses references a lot when talking. He's also a ninja, who plays Ninja a lot and cheats by using moves such as somersaults and spinning to gain a lot of distance in a single move (others generally approve). He also gives good hugs and is generally innocent (getting more and more corrupted as his friends get older and older). Being so innocent, he has no problem creeping people out for a laugh and going up and talking to random people and somehow managing to make new friends instead of getting slapped across the face. He is known for his constant singing, which never fails to drive people nuts. He is particularly well known for singing Defying Gravity, which in fact is his favourite song of all time, as well as many classic Disney songs. He likes to draw, read, and write during his free time, as well as play Kingdom Hearts and watch TV and hang out with his friends. He is a notoriously loud freshman in ABRHS (Acton-Boxborough Regional High School), especially because he's in the band, playing French Horn (the crazy section filled with insane mooses that can't stop laughing). He is an Honorary Dance Troupe for the Jazz Band, who's always swing dancing in a corner during their rehearsals and performances.

Let the records show that it was James who made the Gretchen "Renee" Vogt + Andrew Chang relationship happen. It was during a Meet Market at CTY.CAR.10.2 when he popped in between them while they and their friends were sitting in a circle. He told Renee what Andrew confided with him earlier that day - that Andrew had a crush on her. Then James went to ask both of them whether they would like to go out with the other. They both answered "Er, yeah... maybe." Then Renee went ahead and officially asked Andrew out (rather awkwardly) and from then, they were a couple (and thus began the "Drew's the girl of this relationship" started, further reinforced by the fact that Renee kissed him first). They are no longer dating, however, having broken up sometime after CTY. They still remain good friends.

Jessie Vissicchio: Over the first three years of both their CTY history, they ended up in the same site and session every time without planning to. James's hallmate, John Hollander, was Jessie's CTY boyfriend at JHU.09.2. James's classmate, Kate Broekman, was Jessie's roommate at CAR.10.2. However, they did not truly become close friends until LAN.11.2. Jessie, unfortunately, could not come back to CTY.12, but she did manage to sneak onto campus on the first Sunday of LAN.12.2, using a borrowed watermelon lanyard and the ID card of another friend. They had a great time reuniting until it was time for hall bonding and she had no option but to turn herself in to the main office, where she waited for her ride home.

Logan Cody: This is rather long story of love triangles upon love triangles, but to put it simply, James and Logan met in LAN.11.2 and now, since 22nd of September, 2012, they are happily in a relationship (though long distance really sucks), and have officially been dubbed the cutest CTY couple of the year (by authority unknown or forgotten).
