I'm Katherine Yang, one of the only Southern CTYers. I live in North Carolina, that weird state near Virginia where the Wright Brothers first flew their plane. You might also know my state as the home of Duke and UNC(and NC State, but nobody cares). The Outer Banks, Asheville, Sarah Dessen, blueberries, the Charlotte Bobcats/Michael Jordan, ring any bells? I hope so. (No, I do not have a Southern accent. I live in the North of the South: Chapel Hill, where hispters abound and fandom members are scarce) I am a strong believer in the power of the Oxfordian comma. I like your shoelaces, and I do know when the narwhale bacons, but I haven't seen one in a while.
