Gleb Perch and Captain Omega

Yes. That's right. I will devote the next few minutes of my life describing the adventures of two CTYers; Gleb Perch and Captain Omega, otherwise known as Julian Trupin.

These two have been going to CTY ever since they were eligible. For Omega, '07 and for Gleb '08. Somehow, for the past three years, these two have been in the SAME HALL without ever planning on it. As Captain Omega says, "I have been at war with Gleb for the past 3 years. No progress has been made whatsoever." This might seem a little strange at first, but ultimately, there is a reason. Gleb is the strangest CTYer I have ever met. And I don't use strange in a good way here. I only met Gleb this year, but I have heard of his deeds. Last year at LAN.09.2, the Captain made a bet with Gleb. The bet was that the Captain would sacrifice $5 if Gleb would drink bleach. Gleb stood up, went over to Captain Omega's laundry, and took a huge gulp. To everyone's surprise, NOTHING HAPPENED. Of course Gleb went to the hospital after he told an RA about this, but according to the doctors, THERE WAS NOTHING WRONG WITH HIM.

Next story. The first day of CTY this year, I met Gleb. After our first ever hall meeting Gleb and his roommate Graeme McGuire ('11 Blammo God) went to their room. Gleb obliged to immediately try his key. The key broke off inside the lock, and Gleb immediately said, "I bet the Jews did this." .....Later that first week, the side of the hall (Shaeffer 3) that had a lovely view of the coonstruction site had the first ever discussion, featuring Gleb, on the topics of politics, the economy, and Jews. When we got to the topic of John McCain, Gleb said, "I don't like him." We asked why and he responded,"Well, he's old." We asked him what he had against old people and he said,"They look ugly." We then asked what suggests we do about it. He replied,"Old people should be euthanized." we broke into laughter and asked him how. He said,"Ummmm......by quick dismemberment of course."

Things I have Done

• I have done the talent show for both years I have been at LAN and I've played violin for both years. 09.2 I played the Mendelssohn E minor, 3rd movement. 10.2 I played the Sarasate Carmen Fantasy, Introduction and 1st movement.
• I have glowstringed for every single dance at LAN for the past two years, and I've LOVED IT.
• I joined the Alcove this year and have now gotten herpes, mono, and AIDS from the unspeakable events that have occurred in the Alcove.

Since Kelly is known for telling the truth, we must conclude that a UFO did actually land in the parking lot.

  …[T]he acceptance of abortion does not end with the killing of unborn human life. It continues on to affect our attitude toward all aspects of human life. This is most obvious in how quickly, following the acceptance of abortion, comes the acceptance of infanticide―the killing of babies who after birth do not come up to someone's standard of life worthy to be lived―and then on to euthanasia of the aged. If human life can be taken before birth, there is no logical reason why human life cannot be taken after birth.
