* Landline phone (even if bringing a cell phone)- calling within campus = fun.
* Boys at Siena: make sure you bring a fan. Ryan Hall is: #1, cramped and #2, non air conditioned and it can get pretty hot in New York. Girls at Siena should also bring fans and give them to the boys, some of whom are certain to have forgotten to bring one. Same goes for boys at Skidmore

  • Umbrella (but only if it pops out when you push the button.)
  • Sidewalk chalk (CAR especially.)

Some other ideas from the parent of a second-year attending Lancaster:

  • Clothes for "Halloween"
  • Bathrobe to wear on Thursday (the day the world ends in Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy)
  • Treats and snacks at Lancaster cannot contain peanuts (this includes candies that do not contain peanuts directly, but may have a peanut warning on the package)
  • Frisbee (also a good idea at Siena)
  • Assortment of hats
  • Wings

[EDIT: I removed the bits about bringing flashy clothes just for drag day... Boys, ask the girls in your class for clothes. They won't bite, and, chances are, they've had all of their vaccinations.]
