CTY Lancaster loves to try and represent all the holidays of the year in its three weeks (not including weekends).  Some holidays go ignored, like Labor Day (first Monday), Rosh Hashanah/Yom Kippur (first Tuesday), and Easter/Passover (last Friday (real world Thursday)). However, there are the holidays that everyone gets really into too. Halloween (first Wednesday) is really big, and many CTYers dress up in the costume of their choice. Also, some students go trick or treating, which is really fun. Another big holiday is Christmas/New Year's, on the second Wednesday. many classes buy each other presents from turkey hill or make cards and such. CTY holidays are really cool.
