In Lancaster 2005.2, the current Jesus (Eve Privman) was faced with the choice between Nixon, a very cool guy, and Mark, another very cool guy. Under the special circumstances, Nixon was appointed Satan, as he was a bit more sadistic than Jesus. Eve, always a big fan of the man-kiss, insisted that the newly appointed Jesus and Satan share a touching moment, and to this day Jesus and Satan are known to get quite friendly.

In 2006.2, Kai had to make the decision to throw out the position of Satan, as it was made under special circumstances, or keep it as something new for the one-mores to strive for.  She ended up choosing Cedilla to take the position, therefore keeping the job of Satan in the works for at least one more year. 
 
 
 
Satan's main role is to act out [[American Pie]]. He/she also makes out with [[Jesus]] at the [[Last Supper]] when s/he gives a speech and passes on his/her position. in 06.2 Satan and Jesus also took to acting rather friendly during [[Blister in the Sun]] and various other [[canon]] songs. Time will tell if this continues.
