A better explanation is probably that, for a while, Vampire: (and Scum:) the Masquerade was enough of a phenomenon among LLRT that "Malkavian" meant "crazy" more than it actually meant "crazy vampire." So if someone said "oh, you're more of a Toreador and I'm more of a Malkavian," it would have made sense to say "no, I think I'm a Brujah" but not "Actually I don't think of myself as a vampire at all." --[[User:Sammka|Sammka]] 15:33, 27 August 2006 (MST)

A better explanation is probably that, for a while, Vampire: (and Scum:) the Masquerade was enough of a phenomenon among LLRT that "Malkavian" meant "crazy" more than it actually meant "crazy vampire."
