"The Princess Bride" is a film that is traditionally shown every year at Siena. It is often quoted at this site, both in casual conversation and within the showing of the film.

The movie is based upon a book of the same name by William Goldman (pseudonym "S. Morgenstern"). The story concerns the romance between a poor farm boy and the girl for whom he works.
