Hi, I’m Cathy Nie!
I’m currently a CTY forevermore and RealCTY site admin.
I went to Saratoga Springs in 11.2 and 13.2 (Nevermore year).
Some advice for anyone with at least one more summer left at CTY:
- Make the most of it
- Smile, laugh, and be happy :)
- Do everything you thought you’d never do (Like dress in drag! It's all judgment-free :) )
- Respect other CTYers and other CTY sites. Site rivalry shouldn't be taken too seriously, or you could miss out on meeting some wonderful people from other sites
- Love everyone! Or at least mildly respect them? (listen: Ingrid Michaelson - "Everybody")
- Remember that people come before traditions
- Remember that each session is unique because of the unique CTYers who attend each session. Reach out to people you haven't met before; you might be surprised at what you can learn and who you meet!
- Be yourself; remember that you are beautiful and the only you that will ever exist
