I'm Emma Zdgiebloski. At my old school, they simply referred to me as "that CTY girl", and I suppose I am. Even though I have only attended CTY for two years, it is a massive part of my life. CTY was the first place that truely accepted me for the flawed, eccentric individual that I am. I have attended the following sessions and sites:

'09 JHU (Baltimore) for Crafting the Essay, Session 2
'10 LAN (Lancaster) for Intro to Creative Writing, Session 2

And in those two sessions, I've learned more about who I really am then in any years of schooling. I experienced real love. Not just love between a boyfriend and a girlfriend, but the kind of love that friends have for each other that you just can't ever get rid of. In those wo sessions, I've gained so many people to love, including one guy that I consider my big brother, one very special boy, a very deep girl and many, many others. In those two sessions, my life changed. I am happier, more open and stronger, and I will always know that I have people all over the world who will be there for me.

I am a writer, an athlete, a raver, a sister, a friend, a student, a book-lover, a music freak and a daughter (LAN '10). But most of all, I am that CTY girl, and I always will be.
