I'm Emma Zdgiebloski. At my old school, they simply referred to me as "that CTY girl", and I suppose I am. Even though I have only attended CTY for two years, it is a massive part of my life. CTY was the first place that truely accepted me for the flawed, eccentric individual that I am. I have attended the following sessions and sites:

CTY has given me the opportunity to know who I want to be. I know I'm not perfect, but that's okay, because I know that my CTY friends and family will always love me. I am a writer, an athlete, a raver, a sister, a friend, a student, a book-lover, a music freak and a daughter (LAN '10). But most of all, I am that CTY girl, and I always will be.

At CTY, I gained a lot. I sang, I danced, I pretended to be a unicorn. I was inspired by a boy who wore heels and a girl who glowed. I laughed and ate breakfast with champions. I met a dysfunctional family that adopted me (LAN '10) and fell in love with the traditions and outlandishness of the Alcove (LAN '11). Take your CTY experiences and never let them go.
