Moderate Saturday

Moderate Saturday, more informally known as ModSat, is a Carlisle tradition that can alternatively be listed as Mandatory Fun due to every camper being forced to attend. ModSat has it's name from comparison to BigSat, as it is, by comparison, far more moderate.

During the first week of camp, a movie ticket is available for purchase from the Devil's Den for $7.25. This ticket is then given to the camper's respective RA. On the actual ModSat, campers walk to Regal Cinemas, a movie theatre in the same shopping centre as Walmart. The movie that the camper chose is then watched, and afterwards everyone walks back to the campus for lunch. The films offered each year are ones currently in theatres, and with a warning no higher than PG-13.
