The items edited out of the HoF were moved to memories because they did not seem to have multi-year impact, often only involved one or two halls/classes, or otherwise lacked notability. Dutchman 22:26, 15 August 2010 (PDT)

The glowstringing records, save for perhaps the last one, are, in fact, not HoF-worthy. Or, if they are HoF-worthy, they don't belong in the SAR HoF, because they happened at Lancaster earlier. In which case, they aren't HoF-worthy because nobody really cared. If you have issues with the other HoF changes, feel free to bring them up with me or some sysops. --Max W. 23:12, 16 August 2010 (PDT)

I don't quite understand what you mean. Each entry shows the Glowstringing record at Saratoga being topped by each consecutive year. Why wouldn't they belong in SAR HoF. It seems pretty insensitive for you to say nobody really cared because clearly people did, otherwise it wouldn't have been continued. It's HoF worthy for Saratogians. The Glowstringing record entries were written as "this was the first time in CTY history that blah blah blah." This is patently untrue, as all of this happened at Lancaster before at Saratoga (except, again, the last one I guess). Because of the scope and context in which the entries were written, it seemed as though they belonged in Lancaster more than Saratoga -- and nobody at Lancaster cared about the number of glowsticks tied to a given string, in which case the entries would not be HoF-worthy, since in the context in which they were written, they would be LAN entries and we didn't care. If it's important to Saratoga, then please, rewrite the entries. In particular, I think it might be best to keep all of the entries as a single entry (e.g., 2007-2008 Glowstringing Record, followed by all the information on the record all at once) so that the entries aren't quite so stubbly. This makes it clearer that the entry is significant, since it spans a number of year. As they existed previously, they not only seemed not so important because of their length, but also were false. You are free to rewrite the entries and re-add them to the page. Did you have opinions about the other moves? --Max W. 00:03, 17 August 2010 (PDT)
